Culture Club
No, it's not a cover band of one of the biggest pop groups
of the 80s. Schenkein's Culture Club makes the company's internal working
environment what it is. Imaginative. Inspired. Enjoyable. Committed.
The Club is always about its business - from fielding
nominations from staffers for staffers worthy of the coveted Schenkein
Headliner Award to organizing outdoor sack lunches and happy hours. And
we cultivate camaraderie outside of day-to-day work, even designing monthly
themed events, like a “green eggs and ham” St. Patrick's Day
cookout and costume contest or a roving ice-cream cart complete with “ice
cream truck” tunes.
In a nutshell, Culture Club members keep their collective
finger on the pulse of staff morale and work with the Executive Leadership
Team to keep spirits high and brains pumping with creative juices.
The Club even made over one of the agency's run-of-the-mill
conference rooms into a brainstorming incubator dubbed “The Crayola
Box.” The conference table sits below decorative lighting and is
covered with an endless roll of doodling paper and other objects to keep
minds and hands alert. PR professionals wear many different hats when it
comes to providing client service. In this room, agency staff actually
put on wacky hats and wigs to inspire creative ideas during meetings and
brainstorms.
